Acer's Gaming Handheld Hits US Nov 1st!

Acer's Predator Atlas 8 gaming handheld is set to launch in the United States on November 1st. This powerful device, featuring the Intel Arc G3 Extreme graphics, will be available exclusively through Best Buy with a price tag of $1,300.

The gaming handheld boasts an 8-inch 120Hz IPS display and runs Windows 11, offering compatibility with Xbox Game Pass and a wide range of PC titles. Other notable specifications include 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, dual-mode triggers, TMR joysticks, a microSD UHS-II slot, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Despite the premium pricing, demand for the Predator Atlas 8 appears high. Initial pre-orders at Best Buy sold out immediately, with the retailer planning to open a new round of online orders on the official launch date of November 1st. Acer also recently unveiled the smaller 7-inch Predator Atlas 7, though its US availability remains unconfirmed.
