Summary
- CHUWI unveils UniBox AI495 Pro with up to 192GB unified memory.
- Features AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 chip with 16 cores, boosting to 5.2 GHz.
- Capable of running 300 billion parameter AI models locally.

CHUWI has introduced the UniBox AI495 Pro at IFA Berlin 2026, a compact mini workstation that challenges the market with up to 192GB of LPDDR5x unified memory. This substantial memory capacity matches that of Apple's latest workstations and is enabled by AMD's new Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 processor.
The new desktop features the Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 chip, which boasts 16 cores, 32 threads, and boost speeds reaching 5.2 GHz. It integrates Radeon 8065S graphics with 40 RDNA 3.5 cores, capable of running at up to 3,000 MHz. Notably, up to 160GB of the system's memory can be allocated to graphics processing.
This system is engineered for local AI computations, with CHUWI stating it can run large language models of up to 300 billion parameters using 4-bit quantization. Its complete AI platform delivers up to 131 TOPS, with the XDNA 2 neural processor contributing as much as 55 TOPS.
The UniBox AI495 Pro measures just 2.9 litres in volume. It supports up to 2TB of storage via three M.2 slots and offers advanced connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual 10Gbps Ethernet ports, and two 40Gbps USB4 connections.
CHUWI has not yet announced pricing for the 192GB model, but similar systems from other manufacturers are expected to exceed $2,000. CHUWI is also developing the UniBox AI395, a slightly less powerful model with up to 128GB of memory, also running Windows 11 Pro.
