As the 2026-27 NBA regular season approaches, Ziaire Williams is being eyed for a potential starting position with the Los Angeles Lakers. Coach JJ Redick has shared his positive impressions of Williams, noting his strong defensive intent and effectiveness against opposing star players. Redick also highlighted Williams' consistent catch-and-shoot numbers. A meeting in Las Vegas further solidified Redick's belief in Williams' character and potential for growth.
