Broncos' Allen: Underrated All-Pro D-Lineman

Zach Allen has emerged as a vital defensive force for the Denver Broncos since his acquisition in March 2023. Though ranked tenth among interior defensive linemen by Pro Football Focus, Allen's recent performance earned him first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections. He led the league in the 2025 season with 50 combined sacks and quarterback hits, a testament to his disruptive presence.

Allen's ability to pressure the quarterback is a key asset, with 81 and 83 pressures recorded in the 2024 and 2025 seasons, respectively. He also developed a new aspect to his game last season, knocking down six passes at the line of scrimmage, a career-high.

Prepared for his fourth season with the Broncos, Allen is considered a cornerstone of their defense, difficult for opposing offenses to overcome. The team views him as an invaluable player, with few others they would prefer.
