Summary
- Thirteen Yankees players represent six countries in the WBC.
- Yankees stars will compete against each other in pool play.
- Aaron Judge captains a loaded Team USA roster.

The 2026 World Baseball Classic, beginning March 4, will feature a significant contingent of 13 New York Yankees players across six national teams. This presents a unique scenario where Yankees teammates will compete against each other before rejoining their club in the Bronx.
Aaron Judge is set to make his WBC debut as the captain of Team USA, leading one of the most talented rosters assembled for the tournament. Meanwhile, other Yankees will compete on different sides, including Chisholm and Judge potentially facing off as Great Britain plays against the USA in Houston.
Further Yankees representation includes players joining the Dominican Republic in Miami, Puerto Rico in San Juan, and Panama. Notably, Ricky Caballero will be Panama's starting shortstop. Cohen will represent Israel, managed by Yankees bench coach Brad Ausmus.
Two additional Yankees, Tim Hill and Yerry De Los Santos, are part of the Designated Pitcher Pool for Team USA and the Dominican Republic, respectively. Their involvement is contingent on their teams advancing past the first round of pool play.
