As of June 25, 2026, baseball player Cortes has been absent from the starting lineup for the fourth game in a row. This exclusion comes amidst a noticeable decline in his performance at the plate. The 28-year-old has been a consistent part of the team's right field or designated hitter platoon for most of the season.
