Wyndham Clark claimed the BMW Championship title at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, marking his third victory of the season. Clark navigated a tense final round, ultimately posting an even par 70 to finish at 17-under for the tournament, securing a three-shot lead over the field. His performance ensures he enters the Tour Championship ranked No. 3 in the FedExCup standings and comes with a $3.6 million reward.

Clark began the final round with a five-shot advantage, but his lead eroded early on Sunday. He bogeyed the first hole, and competitors like Gary Woodland and Rory McIlroy closed the gap. A crucial stretch of three straight birdies on holes 16, 17, and 18 proved decisive, allowing Clark to fend off McIlroy's late push and secure the win. This dramatic finish avoided what could have been a significant collapse.

His previous win this season was at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May. After a T5 finish in Memphis last week, Clark is now in a strong position for the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. The top 30 players in the FedExCup standings will compete for the ultimate prize, with Clark aiming to add the FedExCup trophy to his impressive season haul.
