This incident prompted a strong reaction from NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho on the "Speakeasy" show. Acho argued that the WNBA's approach undermines its players' desire to be seen as "grown women." He contended that by protecting Fudd from such questions, the team was treating her "like a baby."
