Jalen Johnson, the sixth overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, demonstrated his scoring prowess early in Monday's game. He impressively connected on four consecutive three-pointers during the first quarter.
Much of Johnson's success in hitting these early shots was facilitated by Trae Young. Young, the Wizards' new initiator, found Johnson on multiple occasions, leading to wide-open opportunities.
