Keyshawn George was instrumental in a dominant offensive performance by the Washington Wizards, securing a 138-117 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Friday. George scored 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting, marking the Wizards' highest-scoring game this season against a Raptors team with the league's fourth-best defensive rating.
Washington's offense clicked at an impressive 59.3% shooting efficiency, with CJ McCollum and Bilal Coulibaly also contributing 21 points each. The Wizards out-rebounded Toronto 46-33 and delivered a decisive 36-17 scoring run in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Despite the loss, Brandon Ingram scored 29 points and Immanuel Quickley added 25 for the Raptors, who were without starters RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl. Toronto had managed to narrow an 11-point halftime deficit to just two by the end of the third quarter before faltering against Washington's late surge.
