Lindy Williams, a 26-year-old Milwaukee native, has been signed by the Washington Wizards to a 10-day contract. He has spent the 2025-26 season with the Wizards' G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, where he averaged an impressive 20.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists over 13 games.
Williams went undrafted in the 2025 NBA draft despite a standout college career at Wake Forest. He has since played for three different teams in three years, appearing in only nine NBA games and averaging just 2.8 minutes. This 10-day stint represents his first significant opportunity to showcase his skills at the NBA level.
Known as a dynamic shot-creation guard with playmaking ability, Williams has also demonstrated reliable outside shooting, converting 37% of his three-point attempts in the G League, including 43% this current season. While expectations are tempered due to limited playing time for recent 10-day contract players, Washington's coach Brian Keefe has shown a willingness to give bench players opportunities.
