Summary
- Former Wisconsin OT Logan Brown signs with Browns' practice squad
- Brown initially signed with Vikings as undrafted free agent in April
- Wisconsin alumnus Joe Huber makes Vikings' 53-man roster

In a recent development, former Wisconsin offensive tackle Logan Brown has joined the Cleveland Browns' practice squad. Brown, who played for the Badgers from 2020 until October 2022, initially signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent back in April. However, he failed to make the Vikings' 53-man roster earlier this week.
Interestingly, another Wisconsin alumnus, Joe Huber, has managed to secure a spot on the Vikings' main roster at right guard. Additionally, program transfers Graham Mertz and Chimere Dike, who were drafted by the Texans and Titans respectively, have also earned positions on their teams' 53-man depth charts.
Brown, a highly touted recruit who was considered the No. 7 overall player and No. 1 offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2019, played a reserve role and contributed on special teams during his time with the Badgers. After a similar role in the opening portion of the 2022 season, he decided to enter the transfer portal in mid-October. He then committed to the Kansas Jayhawks in November and appeared in just two games as a redshirt junior in 2023 before breaking out as the program's starting right tackle in 2024, earning Second-Team All-Big 12 honors.
