Brad Lambert is projected to secure a spot on Winnipeg's opening night roster as the upcoming NHL season begins. The team is considering a positional change for the 22-year-old, moving him from center to wing. This adjustment aims to simplify his role and better utilize his notable speed and skating abilities.
Lambert's performance this season is critical, as his entry-level contract is set to expire. His development and impact will be a key storyline for the Jets, potentially leading to a more significant role or another stint in the AHL.
Daily Faceoff projects Lambert to start on the third line, but his final linemate combinations may evolve throughout the year. A strong showing could lead to a middle-six role, while a slower start might result in a fourth-line assignment.
