Hilltoppers Surge Past Flames in C-USA Clash

Western Kentucky secured a pivotal Conference USA victory against Liberty. The Hilltoppers established their dominance early, taking the lead with 7:05 remaining in the first half and never looking back. By halftime, they had built a commanding 48-37 advantage, largely thanks to an impactful 13 points from Newell.

In the second half, Ryan Myers continued the offensive momentum, contributing a team-high 12 points to solidify Western Kentucky's lead. The team's overall performance, including contributions from LJ Hackman, secured the win and bolstered their conference record. Liberty's efforts, led by Colin Porter and JJ Harper, were not enough to overcome the Hilltoppers' sustained performance.
