- Havili has garnered national attention after two high school seasons.
- Washington extended an offer to Havili before his first high school snap.

Washington's coaching staff, led by Jedd Fisch, is focusing intensely on the in-state 2028 recruiting class to bolster the Huskies' presence in the Big Ten conference.
A standout prospect is four-star defensive tackle Aedyn Havili from Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish. Havili has rapidly gained national recognition after just two seasons of high school football, accumulating 33 tackles and 7.5 sacks during his sophomore year.
ESPN's recent rankings place Havili as the No. 26 overall recruit and the fifth-best defensive tackle in the 2028 class. The 6-foot-2, 320-pound defender has received 16 offers, including from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Michigan, and Utah.
Washington extended an offer to Havili in June 2024, prior to his first snap at Eastside Catholic, suggesting an early advantage. The Huskies are building defensive line depth with commitments from Jon Ioane, Tevita Nonu, Chaz Gray, and Matamatagi Uiagalelei for 2027.
Hakili's impressive power and quickness for his size earned him defensive line MVP honors at the Avery Strong College Showcase. Washington is also pursuing five-star tight end Tytan McNeal from Eastside Catholic for the 2028 class.
