The Golden State Warriors secured a 13-point victory over the New York Knicks last Thursday, but the game was marked by a notable verbal exchange. Knicks' all-star center Karl Anthony-Towns and Warriors' forward Draymond Green were involved in an on-court altercation that drew attention.
Following the game, Green addressed the incident on 'The Draymond Green Show,' his podcast. He recounted that Towns called him a 'front-runner' for his trash talk. Green responded by questioning Towns' own credibility, suggesting his voice fluctuates, implying Towns doesn't present a consistent persona.
The two teams are scheduled to face each other again on March 15, when the Warriors will travel to Madison Square Garden for a Sunday night matchup. This next meeting will likely reignite the narrative surrounding their recent verbal sparring.
