Cavaliers Finalist for Top Recruit Anderson

Virginia is a finalist for five-star point guard Nasir Anderson, a highly coveted recruit ranked No. 9 nationally by ESPN. Anderson has narrowed his choices to ten programs, including Virginia, Florida, and UConn. He is recognized for his exceptional scoring ability and all-around game, averaging 18.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists during the AAU season.

Anderson's dynamic downhill style and powerful build have drawn comparisons to NBA star Anthony Edwards. His potential addition to Virginia would mark the program's most significant recruit since Ralph Sampson, signaling a strong resurgence for the Cavaliers under coach Ryan Odom, who has led the team to 30 wins in his first season.
