Summary
- Valentino Rossi will not race in the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie.
- Scheduling conflicts with MotoGP events are the primary reason for withdrawal.
- Rossi's participation in the 2027 Nurburgring 24 Hours remains a possibility.

Valentino Rossi has confirmed he will not be participating in the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) double-header, nor the NLS finale in October. This decision stems from scheduling conflicts, primarily with the MotoGP race in Misano, where Rossi remains involved as a team owner.
His team is actively discussing his racing program for the upcoming year. While Rossi's mandatory DMSB Permit Nordschleife (DPN) run will not occur this year, his participation in the Nurburgring 24 Hours, a race he admires, remains a possibility for the future.
Reports of friction between Rossi's team and SRO Motorsports Group have been denied, with team principal Vincent Vosse emphasizing a strong relationship. An earlier hospitality issue at the Nurburgring was also clarified as having no impact on Rossi's racing plans.
While earning the permit in early 2027 is technically feasible, the timeline for Rossi to prepare for the Nurburgring 24 Hours would be tight. His team has assured that fans will see as much of Rossi next season as they have this year.
