McLaughlin-Levrone earned 400m and 4x400m relay gold at the World Track and Field Championships, running the second-fastest 400m time in history.
Jefferson-Wooden achieved a rare sweep of 100m, 200m, and 4x100m golds at the same championships. They are nominated alongside other international stars, including Faith Kipyegon, Aitana Bonmatí, and Aryna Sabalenka. The Laureus World Sports Awards ceremony is scheduled for April 20 in Madrid.
