North Carolina has secured a significant addition to its 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of three-star wide receiver Anthony Williams. This marks the 14th pledge for the Tar Heels and the eighth commitment within the last week alone, highlighting a strong recruiting surge.
Williams, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 200 pounds, chose UNC over offers from East Carolina, Liberty, and Virginia Tech. Last season, Williams demonstrated his prowess on the field, accumulating 1,061 receiving yards on 61 catches, averaging an impressive 17.4 yards per catch, and scoring 12 touchdowns in 15 games. His sophomore year also saw strong numbers with 504 yards on 25 receptions for three touchdowns.
