Repole emphasized the goal of creating a sold-out stadium atmosphere, thereby increasing the league's overall platform. The expansion aims to broaden the UFL's geographic reach and build on the league's recent successes.
The Rhode Island team will play at the newly opened Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket, with a capacity of 10,500. Colorado's team will be hosted at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, which has a capacity of 8,000.
With these additions, the UFL will remain an eight-team league in 2027 before growing to ten teams in 2028, continuing its strategic evolution.
