Summary
- Oliveira defends BMF title against Lopes at UFC 335.
- Pereira faces Pavlovich in a heavyweight co-main event.
- UFC 335 features Bo Nickal vs. Joe Pyfer middleweight bout.
The UFC has officially announced the top fights for its year-ending UFC 335 event, scheduled for December 12. The "BMF" title will be on the line in the main event, with reigning champion Charles Oliveira set to defend his belt against Diego Lopes. Oliveira, a former lightweight champion, earned the "BMF" title in his last outing and will look to make his first defense against the two-time featherweight title challenger.
In the co-main event, Alex Pereira will make his second heavyweight appearance against Sergei Pavlovich. Both fighters are coming off recent performances in title contention. Pereira recently fought for an interim heavyweight belt, while Pavlovich has been on a winning streak, securing multiple recent finishes.
Further bolstering the UFC 335 card, a highly anticipated middleweight bout between undefeated prospect Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer has been confirmed. Reports also suggest that former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno will face Charles Johnson on the same night. The event is slated to occur at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
