Mullins Returns as UConn Faces Purdue Tonight

The UConn men's basketball team concludes its exhibition schedule Tuesday night, hosting Purdue in a highly anticipated rematch of the 2024 national championship game. Both squads are undefeated in preseason play, each holding a 2-0 record. The Boilermakers have secured exhibition wins against Ball State and Purdue Fort Wayne, while the Huskies have defeated Syracuse and No. 6 Michigan State.

Fans will see the return of Braylon Mullins, who is expected to make his season debut for UConn. The sophomore guard will be on a minutes restriction as he recovers from an undisclosed injury, but his presence is a significant boost. This game also presents a major challenge for UConn's new frontcourt duo, who will face Purdue's tall lineup, including 7-foot-4 center Daniel Jacobsen.
