26 Feb
Summary
- UCLA is actively recruiting 2027 QB Brody Rudnicki.
- Rudnicki is scheduled for an unofficial visit this spring.
- He threw for 17 touchdowns despite limited playing time.
The UCLA Bruins are intensifying their efforts to secure a top quarterback for the 2027 recruiting class, with a particular focus on Brody Rudnicki. Rudnicki, a three-star prospect from Folsom High School in Folsom, California, is slated to visit UCLA this spring.
Although Rudnicki played as a backup during his junior season behind a highly-rated 2026 quarterback, he made a notable impact in limited opportunities. He amassed over 1,000 total yards and scored 17 touchdowns in the 2025 campaign.
Rivals ranks Rudnicki nationally as the No. 758 overall player and the No. 50 quarterback, also placing him as the No. 82 prospect in California. A strong senior season in 2026 is expected to elevate his standing.
Rudnicki's recruitment is currently wide open, presenting an opportunity for UCLA. A successful spring visit, potentially resulting in an offer, could position the Bruins as a key contender for the promising in-state quarterback.
