16 May
Summary
- Travis Hunter will play both offense and defense for the Jaguars this season.
- Coach expects an increased usage at cornerback with some offensive snaps.
- Hunter is recovering from a knee injury and expected to be at full strength.
Jacksonville Jaguars player Travis Hunter is poised to make a significant impact this season, utilizing his skills on both offense and defense. While there has been much discussion about his positioning, coaches have affirmed his continued role as a two-way player.
This season may see a different distribution of snaps compared to last year, when Hunter primarily played wide receiver before his injury. Current projections indicate an increased focus on his cornerback duties, potentially positioning him opposite Montaric Brown. However, opportunities on offense are still expected.
Hunter is actively working back from a knee injury sustained previously. He is anticipated to be at full capacity by the start of training camp, ready to contribute to the Jaguars' success on both sides of the field.
