- Kante currently plays for Turkish club Fenerbahce.
- The midfielder has a contract with Fenerbahce for two more seasons.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in a surprising transfer swoop for N'Golo Kante, who is currently playing for Fenerbahce. This potential move occurs as the north London club undergoes a major squad overhaul. Manager Roberto De Zerbi has already seen several defensive and midfield reinforcements arrive.
The World Cup winner joined the Turkish Super Lig outfit earlier this year. He has since made 18 appearances and scored twice for Fenerbahce. Kante previously won two Premier League titles during his time in England.
His extensive experience includes Champions League and Europa League triumphs. With 227 Premier League appearances, Kante would bring significant know-how to Tottenham's midfield. However, he remains under contract for another two seasons, suggesting any transfer would be costly.
Meanwhile, Tottenham's midfield could also see player departures. Dejan Kulusevski has reportedly been offered to Fiorentina, and Lucas Bergvall has attracted interest from other clubs.
