According to a recent report, elite 2027 recruit Quentin Burrell from Mount Carmel High School in Chicago is planning to visit the University of Michigan in October to see the Wolverines take on Wisconsin. Burrell, a highly-touted four-star wide receiver, previously visited Ann Arbor in March and was impressed by what he saw.
The 49th-ranked prospect in the 2027 class, Burrell told Rivals that he is eager to "see what the Big House is all about" and observe how Michigan's new offensive coordinator Ron Bellamy prepares his players. Burrell's sister currently attends the university, and he has indicated that he could see himself suiting up for the Maize and Blue.
The Wolverines are considered one of the early frontrunners in Burrell's recruitment, along with Notre Dame, Penn State, and a few other programs. Burrell praised Michigan's excellence "on and off the field," stating that the university is one of the few that has the "best of both" worlds when it comes to academics and athletics.
