Rees Follows Stefanski to Falcons
22 Jan
Summary
- Tommy Rees joins Kevin Stefanski in Atlanta.
- Rees previously worked under Stefanski with the Browns.
- The Falcons hired Stefanski as head coach last week.

Tommy Rees has officially been appointed as the Atlanta Falcons' next offensive coordinator, a move that reunites him with head coach Kevin Stefanski. This decision comes shortly after Stefanski himself was named the Falcons' new head coach.
Rees brings valuable experience, having spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, where he was promoted to offensive coordinator last season. He also held coaching positions at Notre Dame and Alabama.
Stefanski, who was fired as head coach of the Browns earlier this month after six seasons, now leads the Falcons. His hiring replaced Raheem Morris, who was let go after three seasons in Atlanta. Rees was widely considered the favorite for the offensive coordinator role once Stefanski's hiring was finalized.
