Hollywood actor Tom Holland recently shared a humorous anecdote about attempting to connect with football sensation Erling Haaland.
Holland recounted on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that he reached out to the Manchester City striker via direct message. This attempt at friendship occurred after Holland spotted Haaland during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
During their conversation, Holland admitted he had indeed messaged Haaland with an invitation to dinner. He described the experience as a humbling reminder that his messages, like anyone else's, might go unanswered.
Holland expressed his surprise at the complete silence, noting that he received absolutely no reply from Haaland, not even a brief excuse. He humorously suggested this lack of response was a unique form of rejection for an actor.
