Sports broadcaster TNT Sports has moved its streaming operations from Discovery Plus to HBO Max, which has recently launched in the United Kingdom. This strategic shift places TNT Sports under the umbrella of a prominent US streaming service.

Existing subscribers to Discovery Plus can utilize their current login details to access TNT Sports on the HBO Max platform. For new customers, the standard monthly subscription remains at £30.99. However, an incentive is offered through a 12-month contract, reducing the monthly price to £25.99 and resulting in an annual saving of £60.

The transition to HBO Max ensures that fans can continue to watch live coverage of major sporting events such as the Champions League, Premier League, UFC, and the French Open. The broadcasting team, including presenter Laura Woods, will remain the same, assuring continuity in programming and presentation.

It is important to note that this TNT Sports package on HBO Max does not include the platform's entertainment offering, which features popular shows like 'The Sopranos' and 'Game of Thrones.' Accessing both sports and entertainment content requires a higher subscription tier. Different pricing structures are available for packages that include entertainment, with options for ad-supported or premium tiers offering features like 4K UHD quality and multi-device streaming.
