T.J. Watt Progresses: Steelers Star Nears Return from Surgery

Pittsburgh Steelers' prominent pass rusher, T.J. Watt, has taken a significant step toward his return by attending practice for the first time since undergoing lung surgery. This event occurred after a recent dry needling mishap.

Watt's status for the crucial Week 17 matchup against the Cleveland Browns remains uncertain, as he was a limited participant in practice. However, his appearance alone has been lauded by teammates as a vital leadership boost, signaling progress in his recovery from a partially collapsed lung.

The Steelers, currently enjoying a three-game winning streak, are on the cusp of clinching the AFC North title. They can secure the division with a victory over the Browns or if the Baltimore Ravens lose their upcoming game.
