Super Bowl 50 champion T.J. Ward recently held a significant role representing the Denver Broncos at the 2026 NFL Draft. Ward announced the team's Day 2 selection, defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim, from the draft stage in Pittsburgh. Although not originally drafted by the Broncos, Ward expressed his deep connection to the team, referring to Denver as his "football home."

Ward, who played for the Broncos from 2014 to 2017, was a key defensive player for the "No Fly Zone" that secured the franchise's third championship in 2015. He stated on Instagram that it was an honor to represent "Broncos Country" and present their 2026 draft pick, having missed out on his own draft night experience in 2010. Ward conveyed "nothing but love" for the organization, its fans, and the city that welcomed him.
