Titans Trade Cornerback McCreary to Rams for 2026 Draft Pick
27 Oct
Summary
- Titans trade cornerback Roger McCreary and 6th-round pick to Rams
- Rams acquire McCreary for conditional 5th-round pick in 2026 draft
- Titans have traded 2 cornerbacks since start of current season

In a move to bolster their secondary, the Los Angeles Rams have acquired cornerback Roger McCreary from the Tennessee Titans. The Titans, who have struggled to a 1-7 record so far this season, have traded McCreary and a sixth-round pick to the Rams in exchange for a conditional fifth-round selection in the 2026 NFL draft.
McCreary, a second-round pick out of Auburn in 2022, has started 38 of 55 games in his career and recorded 3 interceptions and 4 sacks. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound cornerback just recorded his first sack of the season in the Titans' recent loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
The Rams' secondary has been a weak spot in their highly ranked defense, and the team has been looking to add depth at the position. With starting cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon sidelined by a broken collarbone, the Rams are hoping McCreary can provide a boost to their defensive backfield.
This is the second cornerback the Titans have traded since the start of the current season, having previously dealt Jarvis Brownlee Jr. to the New York Jets in September.
