Titans' Offseason Acquisition Sneed Sidelined by Injury

In the 2024 offseason, the Tennessee Titans acquired cornerback L'Jarius Sneed via a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. Sneed had shown promise in the previous three seasons, but his 2024 performance was not up to par due to a season-ending quad injury.
Now, as the Titans prepare for the 2025 season, Sneed is still recovering from a knee procedure he underwent in May. Despite being in the building for OTAs, Sneed has not been cleared to practice and will start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, along with center Lloyd Cushenberry, who is recovering from an Achilles injury.
Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi expressed optimism about Sneed's progress, stating that he has been working hard to get back and is heading in the right direction. The team is hopeful that Sneed and Cushenberry will be able to return to the field as soon as they pass a physical.
