The Tennessee Titans have secured Gus Bradley as their new defensive coordinator. This move brings an experienced coach with a strong defensive track record to Nashville. Bradley previously held coordinator roles with the Seahawks, Chargers, and Raiders, and also served as head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He is recognized as a top defensive mind, notably architecting the Seattle Seahawks' "Legion of Boom" defense. His addition to Robert Saleh's staff is seen as a significant boost for the team's defensive capabilities.
The hiring process involved considerable speculation, as Bradley had also been considered a candidate to replace Saleh with the 49ers. However, San Francisco ultimately chose Raheem Morris for that role, opening the door for Bradley to join the Titans.
