Heat Land Elite 3-Point Threat Hardaway Jr.

Free agent sharp-shooter Tim Hardaway Jr. has committed to a one-year agreement with the Miami Heat, valued at $6.5 million. This signing injects significant 3-point firepower into a Heat team now centered around Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Hardaway Jr. proved to be an invaluable offensive asset last season, particularly as a reserve. He was tied for 10th in the league for 3-point makes despite limited minutes, and his 205 makes off the bench significantly outpaced any other player. This offensive volume was accompanied by the most efficient shooting performance of his 13-year career, surpassing 40% from beyond the arc for the first time. His exceptional play earned him third place in the Sixth Man of the Year award voting. Earlier this offseason, the Heat also secured Andrew Wiggins to a new deal.
