Summary

- It was Woods' first hole-in-one in 20 years, leaving Charlie "stunned" and "going nuts"

In 2025, former World No. 1 golfer Fred Couples reminisced about a remarkable golf challenge he had with Tiger Woods back in 2018. Ahead of the 2018 Hero World Challenge, Woods and his son Charlie joined Couples for a practice round at the Madison Club in La Quinta, California. While playing on the second hole, the 15-time major winner made a hole-in-one, his first in 20 years.
Couples described the moment, saying that Charlie was stunned and "went nuts" after witnessing his father's impressive shot from 212 yards. The American golfer noted that it was a long time since Woods had made a hole-in-one, and the shot was truly remarkable.
While Tiger Woods has limited his golf outings in recent times, his girlfriend Vanessa Trump's daughter, Kai, will be competing at the Annika event this week. The amateur golfer was invited on a sponsor's exemption and will tee off in the four-day tournament, which starts on November 13, 2025. Ahead of the event, Kai shared the valuable advice she received from Woods, who told her to "go out there and have fun and just go with the flow."
