Royal's decision to join the Longhorns comes after considering offers from numerous prestigious programs, including LSU, Ole Miss, Oregon, Georgia, and Oklahoma. He is widely recognized as the top wide receiver in his class by major recruiting services and boasts impressive speed, having run the 100 meters in 10.3 seconds as a sophomore.
