Bo Mascoe: Texas' Underrated Transfer CB Steal?

The Texas Longhorns are set to strengthen their secondary with the addition of cornerback Bo Mascoe from Rutgers. Mascoe, a veteran, arrives in Austin with an impressive collegiate record, including an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention designation in his final season with the Scarlet Knights. During that season, he started all 12 games, amassing 53 total tackles and forcing two fumbles.

Mascoe's three-year tenure at Rutgers saw him accumulate 105 tackles and 11 pass deflections over 26 appearances. He heads to Texas with an immediate opportunity to fill a vacant starting cornerback spot. This position battle is anticipated to be primarily between Mascoe and sophomore Graceson Littleton, although Littleton's previous role at nickel may influence his deployment by defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.
