Redshirt Sophomore QB Propels Texas A&M to Top 3 Ranking

As of November 12, 2025, the Texas A&M Aggies are still the No. 3-ranked team in the College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings. The Aggies, who are currently 9-0 and 6-0 in the SEC, are set to host the struggling South Carolina Gamecocks (3-6, 1-6 SEC) this Saturday.

The primary reason for Texas A&M's undefeated start has been the elite play of redshirt sophomore quarterback Marcel Reed. Reed has thrown for 2,193 yards and 19 touchdowns, while also adding 368 rushing yards and six scores. He has been supported by a talented receiving corps, including transfers KC Concepcion and Mario Craver, as well as a balanced rushing attack.
