Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens reflected on his three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, stating that he no longer pays attention to the team. Owens, who played for "America's Team" from 2006 to 2008, indicated that the disinterest is mutual, as the organization has not engaged with him since his release in March 2009.
His departure followed reports of him becoming a source of tension within the Cowboys' locker room. Despite finishing his final season with the team with 1,052 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, Dallas missed the playoffs that year. Owens later joined the Buffalo Bills and then the Cincinnati Bengals for his final NFL season in 2010.
