Telugu Titans Clinch Thrilling Victory Over UP Yoddhas in PKL 2025

On Sunday, October 6th, 2025, the Telugu Titans secured a hard-fought 40-35 victory over the UP Yoddhas in a Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 match held at the SDAT Multi Purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai. This was the Titans' fourth consecutive win, led by Bharat Hooda's impressive Super 10 performance and Shubham Shinde's High Five. Vijay Malik and Praful Zaware also contributed significantly to the Titans' triumph.

Bharat Hooda, the Titans' star player, reached a significant milestone by recording his 100th raid point in PKL 12, while also amassing 700 points in the league. Vijay Malik, the Titans' captain, also completed 100 raid points this season. For the UP Yoddhas, Bhavani Rajput had a career-best performance, scoring a Super 10 with 16 points, while Guman Singh added 8 points.

The victory allows the Telugu Titans to cement their position in third place in the PKL 2025 standings, while the UP Yoddhas now sit in ninth position after this defeat.

In the second match of the evening, the Bengaluru Bulls earned a hard-fought 33-29 victory over the Tamil Thalaivas. Led by another Super 10 for Alireza Mirzaian and a High Five for Sanjay Dhull, the match was a close affair before the season 6 winners secured the win. It was also a milestone moment for Arjun, who completed 1300 points in the PKL.

With this victory, the Bengaluru Bulls have jumped up to fifth position in the PKL 2025 table, while the Tamil Thalaivas remain in eighth position.
