Telemundo's Massive World Cup 2026 Coverage Unveiled

Telemundo is preparing its most ambitious World Cup coverage ever for the 2026 tournament. The network will broadcast 92 of the 104 matches on its main over-the-air channel, with an additional 12 games airing on Universo.

A remarkable 700 hours of programming are slated for the 39-day event, significantly exceeding previous broadcasts. Coverage will often begin early and run continuously, offering extensive analysis and tangential topics.

This comprehensive plan aims to engage a wide audience by integrating sports, entertainment, news, and cultural elements. The network will feature on-the-ground reporting from all matches, including input from legendary commentator Andrés Cantor.

Telemundo's studio will be based in Miami, with additional on-site facilities in host cities. The network expects to break viewership records, capitalizing on the North American location and expanding tournament format.
