Calgary native and pop sensation Tate McRae was present at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday night to support the Calgary Flames against the Seattle Kraken. This appearance continues a cherished family tradition of attending home games whenever she visits the city. McRae was greeted by the team's mascot, Harvey the Hound, and received a special gift.
The Flames organization presented McRae with custom Calgary Flames jerseys bearing her name, a moment captured and shared across the team's social media platforms. Her brother, Tucker McRae, a defenseman, also has a strong hockey background, developing locally before playing junior hockey and now serving as captain for Dartmouth College's NCAA Division I team.
On the ice, the Calgary Flames secured a 4-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken. After trailing 2-1 entering the third period, Calgary scored three goals, including two from Mikael Backlund and a game-sealing empty-netter, to complete the comeback. Nazem Kadri and Matt Coronato also scored for the Flames.
