19 Oct
Summary
- Texans WR Tank Dell returns Sunday after a 22-month absence.
- He missed all of last season due to a severe knee injury.
- Coach Ryans expressed gratitude for Dell's return to play.
Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is slated to make his return to action this Sunday against the New York Giants, as announced by coach DeMeco Ryans. This marks Dell's first game appearance in approximately 22 months, following a severe knee injury.
Dell sustained multiple torn ligaments and a dislocated kneecap in December 2024, which sidelined him for the entirety of the 2025 season. He began the 2026 season on injured reserve but has been practicing, recently opening his practice window without setbacks.
Coach Ryans conveyed his excitement and gratitude for Dell's return, stating that the primary goal is simply to see him back on the field competing. Dell joins a Texans receiving corps that includes Nico Collins and Marvin Harrison Jr., as the team aims to build on their recent divisional win.
