The Super 8 round of the T20 World Cup 2026 is set to commence on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The opening match will feature New Zealand against Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. This stage follows the conclusion of the group stage on Friday, February 20, with an inconsequential match between Australia and Oman.
Eight teams have successfully advanced to the Super 8s, divided into two groups. Group 1 comprises India, South Africa, West Indies, and Zimbabwe. Group 2 consists of Sri Lanka, New Zealand, England, and Pakistan. Each team will play the other three in their group once, with the top two finishers from each group progressing to the semifinals.
