T1 Faces Upstart FlyQuest in Worlds 2025 Swiss Stage Showdown

T1, the reigning League of Legends Worlds champion, has secured its spot in the Swiss Stage of the Worlds 2025 tournament after a dominant 3-1 victory over China's Invictus Gaming in the Play-Ins. The South Korean powerhouse, led by standout performances from Jungler Oner and ADC Gumayusi, now sets its sights on its next opponent, FlyQuest, the first seed from North America's LTA.

Despite T1's status as the favorite, the best-of-one format of the Swiss Stage means that FlyQuest has a genuine chance of pulling off an upset. The LTA champions have looked strong and dominant in their region, with Jungler Inspired in particularly impressive form. If FlyQuest can gain advantages in the draft phase and win the early game, they may be able to catch T1 off guard.

However, T1 remains one of the top contenders to lift the Worlds trophy this year. With a versatile champion pool and excellent team synergy, the "fourth-seed" tag attached to the team is merely a formality at this point. The battle between the East and the West promises to be an exciting start to the Swiss Stage of the League of Legends Worlds 2025.
