Royal Challengers Bengaluru spinner Suyash Sharma recently participated in a local cricket tournament in Malda, West Bengal. The 22-year-old played for the Saat Sokal team in the quarterfinal of the 25th SRMB Cup Knockout Cricket Tournament.
In a 30-over match against Agragami Sangha, Siliguri, Sharma took two wickets for 43 runs and remained unbeaten on six runs with the bat. His team secured a 92-run victory, advancing to the next round. Fans gathered to meet Sharma, with videos showing him signing a bat for a supporter.
Sharma, who previously played for Kolkata Knight Riders and was part of their IPL 2024 championship team, was acquired by RCB for ₹2.60 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction. He was retained by RCB for the IPL 2026 auction.
