Pope's Fifty Powers Surrey Past Middlesex

Surrey's T20 Blast campaign has been revitalized with a dominant performance against rivals Middlesex at The Oval. Ollie Pope was the standout performer, striking his maiden half-century of the season, finishing with an unbeaten 51 off 33 balls. His partnership with Jason Roy, who contributed 46, efficiently led Surrey in their chase.

The foundation for Surrey's success was laid by their formidable bowling attack. Reece Topley and Sean Abbott were particularly impressive, restricting Middlesex to a modest 130-7. Despite a valiant effort from Luke Hollman, who top-scored with an unbeaten 31, Middlesex struggled to post a competitive total. This victory represents Surrey's 12th triumph in their last 14 T20 Blast meetings against Middlesex.
