8 Nov
Summary

- Phoenix traded Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale for Bridges.
- Miles Bridges returns to play against the team he was traded to.
The Phoenix Suns are preparing to host the Charlotte Hornets on November 12th, marking their first encounter since a significant offseason trade. This game is particularly notable as it features Miles Bridges playing against the team that acquired him.
The Suns sent veteran 3-point specialists Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale, along with a future first-round pick, to Charlotte in exchange for Bridges, a draft pick, and a second-round selection. Bridges, 28, brings a younger, more athletic profile to Phoenix compared to the experienced shooters he replaced.
Bridges, who began his career with the Hornets in 2018, returns to the court after missing the entire 2022-23 season due to a 30-game suspension related to a domestic violence incident. The NBA deemed 20 games of this suspension served, allowing him to play sooner. This trade has generated considerable discussion regarding the team's roster strategy.
